NRS commenced works in September 2017 of the installation of a 750mm diameter storm water pipeline in Furbo, Co. Galway. The pipeline length totaling 770m was through granite rock. Works were undertaken on the R336 Spiddal road and between residential areas at a depth of 4.5m along with accommodation works. The topsoil removal was under archaeological monitoring to identify any remaining archaeological monuments. Works were completed in November 2017.
