The project consisted of the realignment of an existing entrance road, resurfacing, new footpaths and cycle track. Works included the diversion of existing foul and surface water drainage, the installation of new foul and surface water drainage and installation of an attenuation tank.
Works Included:
- General site clearance
- Reduction of existing levels
- Excavation of 4,000m3 of material including hard surfaces
- Importation of suitable materials to make up levels
- Construction of new pavement
- Laying of tactile and blister paving
- Laying of kerbs
- All linemarkings associated with the construction of the road
- Installation of 16no lighting columns
- Installation of signage
- Installation of foul water services (600mm diameter) up to a depth of 4.5m, 250 meters long
- Construction of 8no. manholes up to 5m deep
- Construction of all surface water drainage consisting of pipework in trenches, 8 no manholes and all road gullies
- Installation of all electrical ducting (650m) including testing and commissioning
- Installation of a StormTech attenuation tank
