Scoil Ruain PE Hall

This project involved the construction of a free standing P.E. Hall and ancillary accommodation with external works and all associated works at Scoil Ruain, Killenaule, Co. Tipperary.

Works included:

  • Excavation for foundations.
  • Installation of hollowcore floor slabs.
  • Construction of blockwork to roof Level.
  • Construction of a steel structure curved roof.
  • Installation of windows, curtain walling and curved canopy.
  • Installation of all services, heating, plumbing and sanitary, ventilation and electrical installations complete with fire alarm, intruder alarm, CCTV, emergency lighting, exit and escape lighting and including lighting and general power.
  • Installation of a new telecom and broadband system.
  • Building finished including joinery works, painting and soft finishes.
  • Excavation for and construction of a new gas service to serve the P.E. Room and the existing building and supply and installation and connection of the new Gas Tank.
  • Construction of external works to include new foul sewers and surface water drains and connections.
  • Construction of new level landings and sloped access, apron paths, and paved areas and construction of reinforced concrete escape ramp.
